The main reception desk operates 24 hours a day and is located on the ground floor of the hotel in the entrance lobby. We offer the flexibility of an automated check-in kiosk, but our friendly staff are on hand to assist, take care of your luggage and explain our hotel facilities.


Our aim is to make all guests stays as enjoyable as possible as if you are spending a night at home. That’s why we created our ‘Liberty’ suites. We have 18 Adapted Bedrooms with cool design to make life easier and the ambience more appealing. There are super wide lifts, special assistance for guests with hearing impairments and several have their own electric hoists. The ceiling track has been designed to hoist guests from the bed into a mobile shower chair which can then access all areas of the bathroom (toilet, basin and shower). Please note that there is not a ceiling track hoist in the bathroom although this is being reviewed for future Brooklyn hotel projects.

Guests wanting to use the ceiling track hoist are requested to bring their own hoist slings. Hotel Brooklyn has a mobile shower chair available on site, however many guests choose to bring their own to suit their size and functionality preferences. For full details, please read our Accessibility Statement.

Public areas

Access around our public areas is made by means of level access. Our furniture and soft furnishings were carefully chosen with all types of disability and impairments in mind.

All our lifts have tactile buttons and there are accessible toilets located on the ground and 9th floor function suite.

Meetings & Functions

Our versatile events space, Brooklyn Heights, is located on the 9th floor and is accessible from reception using the passenger lifts.

Brooklyn Heights offers full flexibility for your comfort too. Our Guys and Dolls will assist you with any specific seating or staging requirements.


Enjoy a big bite of life from an authentic Brooklyn menu. Our Runyon’s Bar and Restaurant caters for all traditional special dietary requirements. We can also prepare meals for ease of eating if needed, just ask!! Should you wish to eat from the comfort of your room, 24hour in-room dining is available.

General accessibility

As we’ve mentioned our team are on hand 24 hours a day and has been trained to support the needs of our guests who may have a special need or disability. We’re here to help if you have a physical impairment deaf, blind or suffering from a well-being or mental health issue.

Fire and evacuation alarm systems in all adapted rooms are designed to assist a guest with special needs and we are working with a number of agencies to further improve our understanding.

Assistance and dogs for the blind are most welcome. If you could be so kind please contact us prior your visit, so we can spoil them too.
